Police Regional Office 12 – Eleven (11) Militia Ng Bayan Members surrender to joint elements of SNA MPS, and Charlie Company of 37rd IB At about 09:00 a.m. of October 29, 2019.

Turning to the government side eleven (11) members of Militia Ng Bayan who supported the members of CNT, GF 73 under Commander MacMac, including one (1) minor female voluntarily surrendered to the joint elements of SNA MPS, Charlie Company of 37rd IB and LGU of Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat.

The Eleven (11) Surrenderees Militia Ng Bayan are the following;

                     1. Adong Poling Y Mison 42 years old, married

                     2. Eddi Timbangan Y Sakilan 31 years old, married

                     3. Fabien Etang Y Timbangan 29 years old, married

                     4. Sukal Timbangan Y Lapi 24 years old, married

                     5. Maoy Sakilan Y Peni 25 years old, single

                     6. Esing Sakilan Y Peni 22 years old married .

                     7. Belisa Timbangan Y Tambala 16 years old, single, female

                     8. Rico Sakilan Y Bolo 22 years old, married

                     9. Bente Timbangan Y Sunap 56 years old, married

                    10. Udis Etang Y Timbangan 24 years old, single

                    11. Pernan Sakilan Y Kalay 24 years old, married

            All are residents of Sitio Sebing, Brgy. Midtungok, Senator Ninoy Aquino, Sultan Kudarat. Said Militia Ng Bayan surrenderees are now under the custody of SNA MPS for documentation and proper disposition while the minor female was properly endorsed to MSWDO of the said municipality.

Due to fear for their lives, hardship and seeing that no progress and improvement on the ideologies that ther are fighting for, thus, decided to return their allegiance to the government side.

“This shows that the Counter NPA terrorist have already weakened, a large number’s of their group are already nabbed by our law enforcement body in this PRO, and many have realized that there is no good in staying in the guerilla, fighting for nothing, an unclear ideology for patriotism, they felt that they are the sacrificial lamb of their organization, thus, the reason they have turned in to our side, a clear path to walk, a life with purpose, with direction and destination and many opportunities. PRO 12 will continue in its campaign in eradicating this Guerilla Groups by weakening their strength, pulling out or minimizing their resources of living such as threatening people to gain something in return, with the help of the community we can achieve more as we unite and make Region 12 a safer place of living” PBGEN ALFRED S CORPUS said.
