1403rd RMFC initiates relief operations amid COVID-19 crisis

MARAWI CITY (PIA) — The 1403rd Regional Mobile Force Company (RMFC) under the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)  14 of the Police Regional Office-Bangsamoro Autonomous Region in Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) initiated relief operations for the less fortunate families in this city.

All personnel of the 1403rd RMFC, under the supervision of its company commander PCpt. Ricardo Salomon Jr. contributed to fund its relief efforts amid the coronavirus disease (COVID 19) crisis. 

To date, 100 families received food packs from the mobile force company. Each relief pack contains two (2) kilos of rice, five (5) packs of noodles, five (5)  pieces of canned sardines, and five (5)  packs of coffee.

The personnel of the 1403rd Regional Mobile Force Company (RMFC) under the Regional Mobile Force Battalion (RMFB)  14 conducts house-to-house distribution of relief packs to the less fortunate families in Marawi City. (1403rd RMFC)

The 1403rd RMFC also provided cash assistance to some families. 

Apart from its relief operations, 1403rd RMFC’s 2nd Maneuver platoon in Barangay Pawak, Saguiaran, Lanao del Sur also handles the community quarantine checkpoints in coordination with Lanao del Sur Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office, Bureau of Fire Protection,  Lanao del Sur Provincial Police Office, 82nd Infantry Battalion of Philippine Army and Ministry of Health – BARMM.

The mobile force company also distributed information, education, and communication materials on COVID-19 awareness and rendered assistance during the distribution of relief assistance of the provincial government. (LELA/ PIA ICIC)
