OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)–Five establishments in the city have been issued closure order and business permit revocation for non-compliance with minimum health standards imposed by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) and the City Government of Ozamiz.
These include the Seaborne Shipping lines, Misamis Unimart, Gats Bar, among others.
Fourteen individuals from the said establishments were also arrested by the Philippine National Police (PNP) Ozamiz for not wearing face masks.
“Two more Ozamiznons died of COVID-19. We cannot defeat this virus if we do not cooperate and work together, we need discipline,” Mayor Sancho Fernando Oaminal said.
Among the minimum health protocols to be followed are wearing face mask, face shield and social distancing.
“Let us all cooperate, follow protocols and save lives,” Oaminal added. (SMRN/PIA Misamis Occidental)
