Balik MisOcc program bats for ‘No Clearance, No Entry Policy’

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)–Provincial Tourism Coordinator Morie Lee said, “We strictly adhere to ‘No Clearance, No Entry Policy’ to keep our Misamisnons safe and secure.”

Balik Misamis Occidental team is working hard to continuously serve returning Misamisnons with protocol-based and unbiased service.

To date, the program has recorded 202 Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) applicants and 447 Non-OFWs.

“We understand our people’s plight but we need to protect our Misamisnon Families and keep MisOcc COVID free,” Lee said.

Lee added that “with the existing COVID positive patients, we hope to bring this down to zero so we can work outside our homes adopting the new normal.”

The province holding facilities, however, are very limited and could hardly accommodate returnees that continuously grow in number.

The province encourages the returnees to secure complete documents and never book flights or trips unless clearance is issued and signed by the governor.

Applicants stranded in ECQ areas are advised to stay until ECQ is lifted or normalized. (Balik MisOcc/PIA10)
