CAMIGUIN (PIA)—Gov. Jurdin Jesus Romualdo advised the local chiefs executives of the five towns here to take charge of their locally stranded individuals (LSIs) and returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs) upon their arrival at the Benoni Port.
Likewise, the governor announced that starting June 12, all or any traveling-related expenses to be incurred by the LSIs going to their respective towns shall no longer be shouldered by the local government unit (LGU) concerned.
Moreover, those who are planning to travel outside the province are required to secure payment for the necessary travel permits and comply with the health protocols except for non-resident LSIs and ROFs.
As of June 11, there are 73 persons with history of travel or COVID-19 exposure recorded by the Provincial Health Office. Of such, 22 are from Mambajao, Mahinog (19), Guinsiliban (4), Sagay (7), and Catarman (21). (RTP/PIA10)
