CAMIGUIN (PIA)—In protecting locals and tourists against coronavirus disease (COVID)-19, the Provincial Government of Camiguin issued the updated entry guidelines, December 5.
As required in Executive Order No. 114-A, all adult tourists aged 18 and older must be fully vaccinated. Full vaccination is at least 14 days after receiving the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or single-dose vaccine, as per Department of Health (DOH).
Vaccination is not required for children 11 years old and below while partial vaccination is required for children aged 12-17 years old. All unvaccinated or partially vaccinated children must be accompanied by fully vaccinated adults.
Prior to entry to the island, all tourists must provide a proof of vaccination through uploading their vaccination card from DOH or the local government unit-issued vaccination card in Clean Camiguin QR (www.cleancamiguinqr.com) via Health Declaration Form tab.
The provincial government will not honor certificates from the rural or city health office, LGU or endorsement letters from local chief executives.
Providing a negative result of the reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) instead of vaccination, whether full or partial is not accepted, the Camiguin Tourism Office stated.
LGU-accredited tourist accommodations are also posted in Camiguin Tourism Office Facebook page for proper guidance. (RTP/PIA-10)
