CAMIGUIN (PIA)—To keep a record of passengers utilizing public land transportation and easy facilitation of contact tracing in the event of a coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 case here, the provincial government requires drivers and conductors to keep a daily log of their trips.
Through Executive Order No. 23, barangay and municipal governments shall ensure that there is a record of the passengers who utilize public land transportation vehicles in the designated loading and unloading areas.
Passengers are required to wear face masks all the time and they should take note of the plate or body number of the vehicle they rode, the date and time of their trip, and the route they took.
Furthermore, passengers should provide their names and home addresses to the driver or conductor.
“Public land transportation operators shall display this reminder inside their vehicles,” Gov. Jurdin Jesus Romualdo said.
The governor added that the movement of all persons in the province must be limited to accessing essential goods and services, and for work in sectors or establishments allowed to operate. (RTP/PIA10)
