Church response in the time of Pandemic

By Pastor Romeo Dela Merced

Fourth of a series

So una, the church needs guidance and a balanced perspective kung ano talaga ang nangyayari sa ating panahon.

What I can only give is an opinion but this is an opinion shared by almost 80 percent of the thinking leaders during our pandemic season. So it is now obvious after five months that this pandemic will not end soon.

But right now we are now living under the status quo on (health) protocols.

Because right now, everyone is considered a social risk. Each one, lahat ng tao, everyone in the planet. Pwidi mo akong ma hawa, pwidi kitang ma hawa. Everyone is a suspect kahit wala kang nararamdaman na symptoms, wala kang nararamdaman na sakit because you can be “asymptomatic.” So everyone now is a social risk.

But health authorities and even World Health (Organization) is saying that the virus hindi kaagad mawawala iyan. What we are experiencing now until end pa ng 2021.

And then pangalawa, siguro kung may cure na. Mahinto na ang lahat ng ito. But we are not looking for a cure and we are not expecting that our health authorities even all over the world will endorse a cure.

You cannot expect our Department Of Health na mag tuob kayo.

Or magaling man yung gamot na yun yung controversial Hydrochlorine.

So hindi matatapos yun. So the cure is not the final solution. So obviously, the final solution is to come up with a vaccine. Pag yaan ngayon ang agenda ng World Health accrediting more than 100 companies and pharmaceutical corporations who are now running against time producing vaccine and infusing billions of dollars for funding. So nag pa-participate diyan ang Russia, China, ang America, ang South Korea lahat ng mga First World countries na involved. So it is very obvious that we are headed towards a global vaccination.

Ngayon kung global vaccination, ang tanong, is it mandatory? Of course it will be mandatory. Dahil yung facemask mandatory, yung mga young people natin not allowed to go out. They will be allowed kung meron na silang vaccine. Diyan talaga tayo patutungo.

Marami tayong speculation. O baka yan na yung “Mark of the Beast.”

It is already written kung iyan na yan. Kahit mag fasting pa tayo and prayer, we cannot prevent it dahil naka sulat na iyan.

Pero ang sabi ko, let the Devil mind his business. Let the Devil do his work. Work niya yun eh. But we as Christians we mind our own business.

If you believe that you are in the last days, it must show sa ginagawa natin that we are really in the last days. Kasi minsan we discuss only about the last days. But what we are doing does not reflect that we are in the last days. Yes we are really in the last days but patungo talaga tayo diyan. Pero hindi pa tayo pwidi mag speculate. Wala pa yung vaccine. Hindi pa natin alam how it will be implemented.

Maraming issues that it could be risky and maraming (possible) side effects. Kahit may risk ang vaccine, the government will endorse it considering the threat of Covid at yung hirap ng Covid. Definitely we will take the vaccine. Para mag balik tayo sa normal.

But how it will be implemented, paano malalaman na ikaw ay babakunahan na, so marami na diyan ang papasok na speculation and ways na merong implant, may digital certificate, it can be added to your ID system, so hindi pa natin alam ang mga bagay na iyan. Let the Devil mind his business because he is running out of time. Yes his (Devil) world is getting short. The church is going up, he is going down. Hindi tayo dapat ma-discourage dito. Mag ingat tayo but we should not be discouraged and I believe the church must rise up now kasi nakita na natin in the last five months. Meron kasi akong fear diyan Pastor Haniel. Yes we submit to the protocols. Expect natin iyan dahil there will be a distinction between the church and the world and we should know that the “spirit” going around is against the church, against the Gospel.

Pero kahit ganyan, dapat and church gumawa pa rin ng way paano natin ma fulfill ang purpose ng ating existence sa daigdig na ito.
