CAMIGUIN (PIA)—Following the Regional Rollout on the Preparation of the Devolution Transition Plan (DTP) and Capacity Development Agenda, August 12-13, the Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin conducted a Follow-Thru Orientation and Workshop to the Provincial Government of Camiguin, September 14-15 via Zoom platform.
The two-day activity tackled the review on the (1) Components of the DTP and the Timelines for Submission, (2) Capacity Development Agenda Formulation, and (3) Packaging of the Local Government Unit (LGU) DTP.
After each discussion, workshops were conducted on the preparation of the annexes needed for the DTP. The participants presented their outputs, which were followed by critiquing by the facilitators.
This activity aims to guide the LGUs for the full devolution of basic services and facilities in preparation for the implementation of the Supreme Court (SC) ruling on the Mandanas-Garcia petitions in accordance with Executive Order No. 138 by 2022.
