DILG Camiguin orients LGUs on citizen satisfaction system

CAMIGUIN (PIA)–The Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) Camiguin Provincial Office held the 2021 Citizen Satisfaction Index System (CSIS) Briefing and Orientation at Catarman and Mahinog, March 30.
The CSIS is an assessment tool designed to generate citizens’ feedback on the service delivery performance of the local government units (LGUs) defined by its availability, reach and quality.
Present for the said activity are the respective municipal mayors of Catarman and Mahinog, namely: Kiterio Antonio U. Palarca II and Rogerio C. Acle. Also in attendance are the Sangguniang Bayan members, punong barangays, department heads and civil society organizations (CSOs) from both municipalities.
The Camiguin Polytechnic State College Project Team Leaders are also present as they are the Local Resource Institute (LRI) partnering with DILG to conduct the survey proper.
This is to consider the sensitivity of the information generated and to assure the non-partisan nature of the exercise.
Also conducted during the activity was the Service Delivery Baseline Data Collection (SDBDC), which generates background data on the service delivery profile of the LGUs being covered. (DILG Camiguin/PIA10)
