Food preparation establishments such as kiosks, commissaries, restaurants, and eateries in Misamis Oriental, excluding Cagayan de Oro and Gingoog cities, are allowed to operate their outdoor dine-in services (al fresco) at 50% capacity while indoor dine-in services can open at 20% capacity.
But if the establishment has a Safety Seal, they may operate an additional 10% capacity as indicated in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Memorandum Circular (MC) 21-28.
The changes in operational capacity in select business establishments or activities in Misamis Oriental came after the province was placed under general community quarantine (GCQ) with heightened restrictions per Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF) Resolution No. 127-E.
Aside from dine-in services, outdoor tourist attractions and other personal care which include make-up salons, medical aesthetic clinics, cosmetic or dermaclinics, reflexology, aesthetics, wellness and holistic centers, and other similar establishments; acupuncture and electrocautery establishments, and massage therapy including sports therapy establishments are only allowed to operate at 30% capacity. The personal care services also include establishments providing tanning services, body piercings, tattooing and similar services. However, the services of these establishments are limited only to those that can accommodate the wearing of face masks at all time by patrons/clients and services providers.
Meanwhile, indoor sports, courts or venues, whether contact or non-contact; indoor visitor or tourist attractions, libraries, archives, museums, and galleries, and cultural shows and exhibits; meeting, incentives, conventions, and exhibitions (MICE) events in eligible establishments; and social events in eligible venue establishments are not yet allowed to operate.
