CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)–In keeping the balance for health and economy, the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE)-10 signed a memorandum of agreement with Mynimo.com to amplify job opportunities amid the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 pandemic, April 13.
DOLE and other government agencies are exerting efforts to “keep people safe from COVID-19 but making sure that they still have jobs,” DOLE-10 Regional Director Albert Gutib said.
Marking their second engagement with Mynimo.com, Gutib said the company has been their partner in addressing problems on unemployment, underemployment, and job mismatch.
For his part, Mynimo.com CEO and Founder Wesley Chiongbian said with their partnership with DOLE-10, they were able to gather over 32,000 applicants from January-March 2021.
Aside from aiding applicants to land a job that suits their skills, Chiongbian said Mynimo.com also helps companies rebuild their operations especially those that were highly affected by the implementation of various community quarantine levels in the region.
He added that connecting applicants and employers in the new normal is possible with their system.
The partnership will also be the highlight for this year’s Labor Day celebration, May 1.
Thorough guide for the applicants will be provided by Mynimo.com to DOLE-10 for information dissemination and easy access for candidates of all levels. (RTP/PIA10)
