DTI-LDN rolls out mobile market online

ILIGAN CITY — To continue providing affordable basic goods while ensuring the safety of the public in this time of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID- 190 pandemic, Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) Lanao del Norte rolls out the Online Diskwento Caravan on October 26-30, 2020.

Diskwento Caravan is an initiative by DTI in partnership with the manufacturers and distributors of basic necessities and prime commodities that aims to provide reasonably-priced quality products to the consumers. 
Food products sold are priced lower than their suggested retail prices and are sometimes sold in packs, providing big savings to consumers. 


Seventeen partner stores in Iligan City are joining the online Diskwento Caravan, offering 10% off on their basic goods, school supplies, and prime commodities. These include Gaisano Superstore, Smart Communications/Ilicomm, Sopra Marketing, A&A Closet, Iligan Galaxy Merchandising, Inshalla Marketing, Te Amo, Studio One, Transcycle, Acscents Perfume, Malagsum Highlands Multipurpose Coop (MAHIMCO), Gaisano Mall Iligan, City Agriculture’s Office (CAG) Kadiwa outlet, Madelicious Bakeshop, Naturaleza, Covega Battery, and Taghatid Supresa.
The participating stores will offer some of their products at discounted prices with free delivery through local delivery app, Dudu.ph, for a minimum purchase of P200. 


Free delivery is also applicable within Barangay Hinaplanon and Tominobo Bridge, with C3 road as the boundary for rural and outskirts areas.


The Online Diskwento Caravan is conducted as one of the major activities of DTI Lanao del Norte in celebration of Consumer Welfare Month 2020. The activity is in partnership with Iligan Chamber of Commerce and Industry Foundation Inc. (ICCIFI), City Agriculture’s Office (CAG), and Dudu.ph.
