BONIFACIO, Misamis Occidental (PIA)–The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI)-Misamis Occidental Provincial Office has rolled out the Livelihood Seeding Program-Negosyo Serbisyo sa Barangay (LSP-NSB) with strict compliance to the prescribed health protocols for COVID-19.
OIC Provincial Director Jane Marie Tabucan said after a series of complete staff work is the distribution of livelihood kits.
“There are 18 beneficiaries who received various kits such as Variety Store kits, carinderia kits, snack vending kits and marine products vending kits as Bonifacio is also a provincial frontier of marine products,” Tabucan said.
Tabucan added that the whole month of June has already been scheduled for the distribution of LSP-NSB livelihood kits throughout the province.
This initiative provides priority assistance to micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) affected by natural and human-induced calamities including health disasters arising from epidemics and pandemics.
One of the objectives of the LSP-NSB is to provide business development assistance and livelihood kits in order to help them recoil and spur economic activities immediately.
The distribution followed after the records-keeping Seminar which was conducted by the Negosyo Center Coordinator Methusael Lumantas. (DTI MisOcc/PIA10)
