Police Regional Office 12 – More than Php8,000 worth of illegal drugs and drug paraphernalia’s seized on a multiple Drug bust operation in Region 12. Five (5) drug personalities arrested.
. Drug Bust Operation conducted were Five (5) from South Cotabato Province, one (1) from Sultan Kudarat, and one (1) from Cotabato City, Some of the said drug personalities was on Drug Watch list of PNP and arrested on October 31, 2019.
At 03:45 in the afternoon, Jomar Cañete y Batoigas, 31 y/o, a resident of BIk 4, Summer Light Subd., Brgy. Magsaysay, Polomolok South Cotabato. Confiscated from the suspect’s possession were One (1) pc. heat sealed transparent cellophane sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected Shabu and One (1) pc. Five Hundred peso bill used as buy bust money.
At about 04:00 PM, Lake Sebu MPS received a cellular phone call from barangay official of Barangay Lower Maculan, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato informing that Rhynheart Abid Cortejos, 21 years old, a resident of Sitio Silangan, Barangay Lower Maculan, Lake Sebu, South Cotabato who was allegedly under the influence of liquor was creating trouble thereat. Immediately personnel of said police station responded to verify said report.
The responding team was able to apprehend said person who was in unruly manner. In order to avoid untoward incident and with the permission of his parents he was brought to Lake Sebu MPS for temporary custody. As standard operating procedure, he was searched thoroughly by the duty Desk Officer PSSg Elvin S Segura. As a result thereof, One (1) piece small size heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu inserted in a pack of cigarette was seen. The Suspect Is Now under the custody Lake Sebu MPS.
At about 07:50 PM Joniel Arania Manambay, 20 years a resident of Purok Lipunan Brgy. Rizal-Pob, Banga, South Cotabato,was arrested by the elements of Banga MPS thru buy bust operation in Purok Pag Asa, Brgy. Rizal-Poblacion, Banga, South Cotabato. Confiscated on his possession were two (2) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be “shabu” with estimated weight of 0.07 grams worth 500.00 pesos street value. The suspect is now under the custody of Banga MPS.
At about 5:10 Pm Operatives of Lambayong MPS in coordination with PDEA 12 conducted buybust operation against Illegal drugs at Purok. Pagkakaisa, Mamali 1, Brgy. Mamali, Lambayong,Sultan Kudarat which resulted to the successful arrest of Marlon Urmatan Tolentino, 33yo, a resident of Purok Pagkakaisa, Mamali 1, Brgy. Mamali, Lambayong, Sultan Kudarat. Seized from the suspect were two(2) pcs heat sealed transparent sachet containing suspected shabu and recovered from his possession and control was one piece 500 peso bill marked money. The suspect is now under the Lambayong MPS
At 04:45 PM, Operatives of Station Drug Enforcement Team (S.D.E.T.) Conducted Drug Bust operation which resulted to the arrest of Mahid Palamela Hussein, 20 years old, a resident of Kimpo Sausa, RH 13, Cotabato City at Don T. V. Juliano Street, Bagua 3, Cotabato City. Seized from the latter pieces of evidence to wit; Two(2) pieces heat sealed plastic transparent sachet containing white crystalline substance believe to be a Shabu with estimated value of Seven thousand Pesos (Php7,000. 00); One (1) piece genuine Five Hundred Peso bill (Php500.00) used as Marked Money; Thirteen (13) pieces photo copied Five hundred (500,00) peso bill; and One (1) unit cellular phone. Supect is now under the custody of Cotabato Police Station.
Arrested suspects were now under the custody of their Respective MPS for proper disposition. Meanwhile, a case of Violation of Sec 11 of Article II of R.A. 9165 is being prepared for filing in court against the suspect. Recovered piece of evidence was brought to Crime Laboratory 12 for laboratory and qualitative examination. Manhunt Charlie for at large suspects is being prepared by the operatives.
