Globe myBusiness supports 7th Cavite Cooperative Leaders’ Conference

Various  cooperatives were updated on the latest trends and pressing issues of the industry as well as the digital solutions available to them during the recent 7th Cavite Cooperative Leaders’ Conference.

Cooperative leaders in Cavite came together for a full-day seminar with the theme “Business Resiliency: The Next Evolutionary Phase of Business Continuity” which featured keynote speakers from the Cooperative Development Authority (CDA), Center of Humanitarian Learning and Innovation (CHLI) and Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations.  They discussed current government programs for cooperatives and the importance of business continuity. There were also speakers from two esteemed cooperatives, Sorosoro Ibaba Development Cooperative, from Batangas and the Bagong Silang 2 Multi-purpose Cooperative, who shared their secrets to success with the rest of the industry.

The Conference was a combined effort of the Provincial Government of Cavite, through the Provincial Cooperative, Livelihood and Entrepreneurial Development Office (PCLEDO), the Cavite Provincial Cooperative Development Council, and the Union of Enterprising Cooperative (UNECO).

The event was supported by Globe myBusiness which recognizes cooperatives as one of the priority industries given their nationwide reach and immediate impact to the customers.
