TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA) – Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo held an online conference with the officers of GNPower Kauswagan to discuss the company’s program of providing Green Building Materials (GBM) to the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte for the construction of basic infrastructure projects such as provincial roads, school, government, and multipurpose buildings, and perimeter fence, among others.
The program is part of the corporate social responsibility of GNPower Kauswagan to help attain sustainable development and prosperity in the province.
Governor Dimaporo was personally joined by 1st District Representative Mohamad Khalid Quibranza Dimaporo and Provincial Administrator Sittie Aminah Quibranza Dimaporo with the Department Officers from the Engineer’s Office, Planning and Development Office, Budget Office, and the Legal Office.
GNPower Kauswagan has offered assistance by providing cement and other green building materials for the construction of infrastructure projects initiated and implemented by the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte in partnership with Republic Cement.
Governor Dimaporo expressed appreciation to the offer of GNPower Kauswagan as it would help fast track the construction of basic infrastructure projects for the benefit of the people of the province.
Meanwhile, the Provincial Governor immediately instructed the concerned offices to prepare the needed documents and other requirements, particularly the lists of infrastructure projects for 2020 and 2021 and submit it to the focal person of GNPower Kauswagan for the continuous operation of the on-going projects and the commencement of other FY 2020 scheduled infrastructure projects.
The construction of other isolation facilities in the province and COVID-19 Testing Laboratory in old Kapatagan Provincial are at the top of the list of priority projects of the Provincial Government.
This kind gesture from the officers of GNPower Kauswagan will be of great help in the continuance of the good governance of Governor Dimaporo in delivering efficient and effective government services to the people of Lanao del Norte.
The video conference was done on July 10, 2020, at the Governor’s Conference Room, Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Pigcarangan, Tubod, and facilitated personally by local employees of GNPower Kauswagan. (PIO-LDN)
