CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY (PIA)—The Police Regional Office (PRO)-10 arrested one high-value illegal drug personality during the conduct of a buy-bust operation led by the Regional Drug Enforcement Unit (RDEU)-10 that resulted in the seizure of PhP340,000.00 worth of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride, also known as shabu, at Phase 1, Zone 5 A, NHA Subdivision, Kauswagan, here, May 29, 2022.
The Police identified the suspect as Glenn B. Catli, 29, a resident of Block 20 Lot 14, Calaanan, Canitoan, here, and listed in the Directorate for Intelligence (DI) watchlist.
Recovered from his possession were 12 different sizes of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing a white crystalline substance believed to be shabu weighing more or less 50 grams with an estimated Standard Drug Price of P340,000.
The arrested person was brought to Regional Police Drug Enforcement (RPDEU)-10 Office for booking and documentation.
A total number of 8,240 illegal drug operations have been conducted with 10,383 total arrested from 2016 to May 29, 2022, based on Police Regional Operations Division (PROD)-10’s data.
PRO-10 Regional Director Benjamin Acorda Jr lauded the operating units for a job well done.
“The result of these operations manifested our efforts and dedication to really do a good job in apprehending those who violated and will violate the law and we will make sure that they will be placed behind bars,” Acorda said.
He added that all these accomplishments are not solely accomplished by the PNP but because of the help and the support of the community. Thus, they ask for the latter’s continuous support to attain a peaceful place to live in Northern Mindanao. (RPIO/PIA-10)
