ILIGAN CITY  (PIA)–The City Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict (CTF-ELCAC) kicked off a serbisyo caravan for peace and development at Sitio Cadayunan in Brgy. Rogongon Monday, March 29 to bring in various government services to the citizens in the area.

“Ania kita karon aning serbisyo caravan para pagsulti kaninyo nga ang kasamtangang local government wala gayud kalimot kaninyo. Among paningkamutan kung unsay among mahimo alang sa kaayuhan ninyong tanan,” said Vice Mayor Jemar Vera Cruz in his speech.

[We are here right now in this serbisyo caravan to tell all of you that our current local government has not forgotten you. We will try our very best for what we can do for all of your goodness.]

Lt. Col. Rommel Pereña, the newly-installed commander of the 4th Mechanized Infantry Battalion, conveyed that the caravan was realized and many more government projects will be witnessed with the peace upheld by the people in the locality which they maintained through reporting malicious activities brought by the rebel group.

“Papasok na iyong mga serbisyo dito, itong serbisyo caravan, iyong paggawa ng kalsada, paggawa ng eskwelahan. Kasi nga kapag may peace dito sa area, papasok na iyong investments, papasok na iyong mga proyekto ng gobyerno. Hopefully, uunlad na tayo… Dapat ituloy-tuloy na natin ito. Huwag na tayong magpaimpluwensiya,”

[Services will already enter here, this serbisyo caravan, the repairing of roads, the construction of schools. That is because if there is peace in the area, investments will already enter, the services of the government will already enter. Hopefully, we will already progress. Let us continue this. Let us not be influenced already.]
