The handbook shall be used in the New Staff Orientation that will be implemented by the Human Resource Management Offices (HRMOs) of the BARMM ministries, offices, and agencies.
It shall also serve as a guide and reference for all BARMM employees on common Civil Service matters, such as government working hours, rules on leaves and other statutory benefits, ethics, and discipline, among others.

“This is a proud moment not only for myself as being part of the development of the BARMM employee handbook but also for all of you, for the hard work you had given in realizing the handbook,” said Atty. General Sha-Elijah Dumama-Alba.
BARMM Assistant Senior Minister Abdullah Cusain also expressed his gratitude to the JICA for helping the regional government prepare the handbook.
