LANAO DEL NORTE (PIA) — Nine Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) who safely arrived in the Province of Lanao del Norte were immediately brought to the Provincial Health Office to undergo the mandatory rapid testing to ensure that they are clear from COVID-19 symptoms and safe to return to their respective municipalities.
After constant coordination with the national line agencies managing the repatriation of OFWs, this batch was fetched by the provincial government’s frontliners in the Port of Cagayan De Oro City on May 20, 2020.
After taking their mandatory rapid testing, the OFWs have expressed gratitude to Provincial Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo for establishing the Balik Lanorte Program.
The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, through the Balik Lanorte Program, is welcoming returning residents, students, and OFWs who were stranded in other places due to the lockdown imposed as a precautionary measure against the health threat posed by COVID-19.
