MARAWI CITY – Educators from Masiu II District, Division of Lanao del Sur I will soon be adopting the CVIF-Dynamic Learning Program or DLP for their elementary levels.
Fifty (50) educators from 20 elementary schools attended the second run of Smart Communications Inc. DLP In Action online workshop where the Maranao teachers were taught how to craft contextualized Learning Activity Sheets (LAS).
Nihaya Halil, one of the teacher-participants, said with the DLP they can show to their learners that no pandemic or disaster should stop them from learning.
Another participant, Naseimah Casad, said she was eager to learn more about the program after watching the three-day DLP web forum.
“I believe that this disaster-resilient pedagogy is the best option for us to cope with the new normal,” she further said.
Dr. Nihayma Macasindil, the district supervisor of Masiu II District, thanked Smart for organizing the DLP workshop and guiding them in the implementation of the program.
“DLP will help us facilitate the smooth transition from the usual face-to-face set-up to distance learning. Despite the pandemic, we can continue to deliver quality education through DLP, with or without technology,” she added. (Smart Communications)
