LDN guv aims to solidify holistic approach towards dev’t

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte (PIA) — In a joint virtual meeting that convened members of the provincial councils for Development, Peace and Order, Anti-illegal Drug Abuse, and Task Force to End Local Communist Armed Conflict, Governor Imelda “Angging” Quibranza-Dimaporo shared her vision to strengthen holistic approach for the development of the province.

“I would like to appreciate it if we could solidify our holistic approach to a sustainable resource in our province,” she said.

Dimaporo recognized the efforts of the agencies to sustain and maintain the order in the province as they performed their duties well. However, she emphasized that continuous efforts are still needed to address issues faced in the communities. 

“There are some tasks we have committed ourselves to addressing that will take longer to complete. Therefore, constant support is needed to continue work for issues until they are addressed,” said Dimaporo.

She also hoped that they could develop new ideas to intensify campaigns and end illegal drugs in every community.

Agencies that presented updates during the meeting are the Provincial Police Office, 2nd Mechanized Infantry Brigade, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency Lanao del Norte (LDN), Department of Environment and Natural Resources (LDN), and Department of the Interior and Local Government LDN.
