MisOr recognizes outstanding PNP officers in 26th PCR month

VILLANUEVA, Misamis Oriental (PIA)–Acknowledging outstanding officers, the Province of Misamis Oriental recently held the culmination of its 26th Police Community Relations month at the Misamis Oriental Provincial Police Office Headquarters, Villanueva town as the Philippine National Police (PNP)-10 caps off its annual campaign to strengthen community participation in crime prevention and building of grassroots partnerships.

Attended by various individuals, organizations, local government unit officials, and stakeholders, the culmination gave praise and recognition to the hardworking police corps who played significant roles in responding to crimes and concerns in the midst of the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 pandemic here in the province.

Among the notable awardees in the unit category, Gingoog City Police Station earned Outstanding City Police Station CY 2021 Provincial Level, and Jasaan Municipal Police Station won as Outstanding Municipal Police Station CY 2021 Provincial Level.

While in the individual category, PLt Loudivina A. Fuentes from Gingoog City Police Station was named the Outstanding PCR Junior PCO for CY 2021 Provincial Level and PCpl. Glennfrey Holy B. Bailo from Gingoog City Police Station is still the Outstanding PCR Junior PNCO for CY 2021 Provincial and National Level.

NUP Laarni Joy J. Conadera of Initao Municipal Police Station also received the Outstanding PCR NUP for CY 2021 Provincial Level and is also a national awardee of the award.

Further, additional honors were given to Dr. Alexander M. Simbulan and the Anti-Narcotic International Assistance Group (NARIAG) for their continued support and contribution to the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office to achieve regional level acknowledgment as Outstanding Police Community Relations Development Unit and National Level nominee in CY 2021.

LGU Gingoog was also honored as Best Local Government Unit, Mayor Erick Cañosa personally accepted the plaque of recognition.

Despite the culmination of the Police Community Relations Month, Misamis Oriental Governor Bambi Emano reaffirmed his support for the measures of the Misamis Oriental Police Provincial Office, especially that they have greatly helped the force in maintaining order and peace in the province.
