CAMIGUIN (PIA)–To respond to the pressing call of time for cleanliness and sanitation, the National Food Authority (NFA)-Camiguin carries out biosecurity measures in its premises.
Among the protocols observed include the wearing of face mask all the time in NFA premises. All individuals as well as vehicles going inside the agency’s grounds must pass a mat with disinfectant solution.
The office has also established a sanitation station where all are required to do proper hand washing. Alcohols are also available.
NFA Camiguin uses an infrared digital thermometer to deter entrance of anyone having a fever and necessary intervention is done for individuals who have fever.
The agency also strictly imposes the ‘No Spitting’ policy within the warehouse. With all these practices together with social distancing and proper cough etiquette, NFA Camiguin expects to contribute to the government’s efforts against the spread of coronavirus disease (COVID)-19.
