One Hospital Command Center in Iligan operational

ILIGAN CITY (PIA) – In a bid to have a resilient and responsive healthcare system in Iligan amid the coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) pandemic, the city government of Iligan has started the operation of the One Hospital Command Center (OHCC).

“Ang atong One Hospital Command Center nga ato gepaninguhaan og gepaningkamutan na maestablish nagsugod na ug pwede na manawag sa atong hotline numbers.,” Dr. Belinda Lim, health cluster manager of the Emergency Operations Center, shared in a COVID-19 Virtual Presser.

She said the OHCC aims to provide a real-time situational awareness on hospital capacity and availability of hospital beds and medical personnel in all the hospitals in Iligan.

“There is no physical structure, mura ni og call center (this is like a call center),” she further said.

Lim added that the OHCC will boost the coordination between all the private and government hospitals in the city.
