PGLDN concludes 5-day CSEP training for supervisors, enumerators

TUBOD, Lanao del Norte — The Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte, through the Provincial Planning and Development Office (PPDO), conducted a five-day Community Socio-Economic Profiling (CSEP) training for newly hired supervisors and enumerators. 


Engr. Anecita R. Lendio, EnP, Provincial Planning and Development Coordinator, spearheaded the activity together with Engr. Melba A. Maghuyop, PEO IV, who gave an overview and explained the rationale of CSEP. 


Lyndon G. Calica, the Incident Commander of the Incident Management Team (IMT) and Provincial Information Officer joined the opening program shared advice to the participants in the performance of their tasks.


The 2020 paper-pencil CSEP aims to generate computerized databases as inputs or basis when crafting local planning, program formulation, and impact monitoring of policies and programs of the national and local governments. 


Furthermore, CSEP provides employment to the Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) and Returning Overseas Filipinos (ROFs) as an Employment Assistance Program of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte through the initiative of Governor Imelda ‘Angging’ Quibranza-Dimaporo to help them bounce back after losing their jobs during the implementation of the Enhanced Community Quarantine and community lockdown.


Governor Dimaporo continuously initiates and implements programs, projects, and activities through the different offices of the Provincial Government of Lanao del Norte and closely coordinate with various agencies of the national government for the welfare and best interest of the people of Lanao del Norte, especially in these challenging times brought by the COVID-19 pandemic. 


The five-day training was held at the Provincial Multi-Purpose Building, Governor Arsenio A. Quibranza Provincial Government Center, Tubod, Lanao del Norte from October 26 to 28 and on November 3, 2020. 


Also present during the activity were Eugenie P. Pusing, the Provincial Human Resource Management & Development Officer (PHRMDO), and Annette B. Daniel, the Provincial Population Officer (PPO) who showed their utmost support and assistance to the newly hired supervisors and enumerators. (PIO-LDN)
