OZAMIZ CITY, Misamis Occidental (PIA)–The Philippine National Police (PNP)-Ozamiz launched the Stakeholders Security Alliance to further strengthen its effort on peace and order in the city held at Ozamiz Police Station Conference Room.
PNP-Ozamiz OIC PMaj. Peter Ryan Revillas said the PNP needs the participation and support of the people and stakeholders in ensuring peace and security.
Revillas said the contributions of every government agency, civil society organization, and even the local community are vital in realizing the goal of making the city safer and more peaceful.
He also encouraged Ozamiznons to continue their support to PNP towards the attainment of a common goal and that is “to give children, grandchildren, and the next generation of Filipinos a much better country; one that is peaceful and prosperous.”
Meanwhile, Misamis Occidental Stakeholders Security Alliance (MOSSA) President Ron Saquin said the program helps the police to intensify the peace and order in the city as well as it strengthens the relationship between the civilian groups and PNP.
MOSSA is a civilian group that aims to assist the PNP as a force multiplier for the security of peace and order in the province of Misamis Occidental. (SMRN/PIA Misamis Occidental)
