PPO MisOcc opens new quarters building, offices

OROQUIETA CITY, Misamis Occidental, Nov. (PIA) –Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 Regional Director PBGen. Rolando Anduyan, together with Provincial Director, PCOL Danilo Tumanda, Provincial Governor Philip Tan and local officials, led the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed two-storey officers’ quarters building and offices of Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), Provincial Plans and Strategy Management Unit (PPSMU), Crime Laboratory and three security outpost at Misamis OccidentalProvincial Police Office, Oroquieta City.


The activity started with the ribbon cutting and unveiling of the marker. The Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office has started its transformation and renovation only after the realization of lot titling in January 2017 with a land area of 18,287 square meters.

A year after the titling of the lot, particularly on April 4, 2018, Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office has successfully inaugurated the first standard Police Provincial Office building in PRO 10 with fully equipped furniture and air- conditioning units.

Police Regional Office (PRO) 10 Regional Director PBGen. Rolando Anduyan, together with the Provincial Director, PCOL Danilo Tumanda, Governor Philip Tan and local officials lead the cutting of ribbon and unveiling of marker of two-storey officers’ quarters building and offices.

In his message, Provincial Director PCOL Tumanda said the two- storey officers’ quarters building costing almost P5 million sponsored by the PNP trust receipt has total eight rooms enough to cater their men and women staff officers with complete comfort rooms and lavatory.

He added the identical offices of WCPD, PPSMU and Crime Laboratory with a contract amount of P1.5 million each building has three rooms per office, comfort room, and lavatory while the three Perimeter Fence Outpost has a contract amount value of P600,000.

Tumanda also said, “Rest assured that the Misamis Occidental Police Provincial Office will double the efforts to make our beloved province a safer place to live, work and do business.”

Meanwhile, Governor Philip Tan said, “Today, we celebrate our accomplishments and today is a result of the Police and local government collaboration and cooperation because without LGU and police cooperation this will never happen.”

The Provincial Police Office in Misamis Occidental holds the blessing and inauguration of the newly constructed two-storey officers’ quarters building and offices of Women and Children Protection Desk (WCPD), Provincial Plans and Strategy Management Unit (PPSMU), Crime Laboratory and three security outpost at MisOcc Provincial Police Office, Oroquieta City. 

Tan also shared, “It is the best time to be in the Provincial Police Office in the province because I think this is the most beautiful town the whole region 10.”

“The provincial government vision is to become vibrant agri-fishery, to be an eco-tourism destination that’s why the police forces have a big role in the vision of the province,” he added.

He said more infrastructure will be coming to the police headquarters.

Regional Director, PBGen Anduyan challenged everyone to work hand in hand by providing better services from these new quarters building and offices to attain peace and order, ensuring public safety and enforcing the law in the community of Misamis Occidental.

In the first quarter of 2020, PPO will again Inaugurate and bless the under construction Provincial Director’s Quarter, Multi-purpose grandstand and function hall. (PIA MISAMIS OCCIDENTAL/ SMRN)
