Police Regional Office 12 – PRO 12 Operatives neutralized a drug dealer in an Anti-Illegal Drug Operation at Kidapawan City on April 13, 2020.
Police report revealed that at around 4:40 in the afternoon of aforementioned date, joint elements of RPDEU 12, RID 12,PIB,PMFC and Kidapawan CPS,CPPO in coordination with PDEA12 conducted buy-bust entrapment operation at Purok Guava,Barangay Poblacion, Kidapawan City which resulted in the neutralization of the suspect identified as Jose Leo Labrador Roa alias Jonel Roa 19 years old, a resident of aforementioned place.
During the operation, the poseur- buyer entered in the house of the suspect and was able to buy one (1) piece small heat-sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu using one (1)piece Five Hundred Peso bill (Php 500.00).
However, the suspect resisted the arrest, drew his firearm and shoot towards the responding team that resulted to a short firefight.
As a result, the suspect suffered gunshot wounds and was immediately rushed to Hospital in Kidapawan City for medical treatment but was declared dead on arrival.
Recovered during the operation were one(1) piece Five Hundred Peso Bill(Php 500.00) used buy-bust money; one (1) piece small heat sealed transparent plastic sachet believed to be shabu; One (1) unit Caliber 38 revolver ; One (1) piece fired cartridge case of caliber 38 revolver; Three (3) pieces fired cartridge cases of 9mm;and Eleven(11) pieces heat sealed transparent plastic sachets believed to be shabu.
Said suspect is included in the IDID (Inter-Agency Drug Information Database)List formerly PRRD List and categorized as Street Level Personality(SLP). Recovered pieces of drug evidence are now under the custody of RPDEU 12 subject for laboratory examination while the recovered firearm and ammunition are now under the custody of Provincial Crime Laboratory Office,Kidapawan City for documentation and proper disposition.
