Police Regional Office 12 – Two (2) drug peddlers nabbed in separate Buy-bust operation in Polomolok, South Cotabato on Thursday, April 16, 2020.
On April 16, 2020, at around 05:20 in the afternoon, Elements of Polomolok Municipal Police Station in coordination with PDEA 12 conducted Buy-Bust operation at Block 7, Tuazon Subdivision, Purok Masigla, Poblacion, Polomolok, South Cotabato against Kalvin Dayonot y Jamero, 27 years old residing at Sampaguita Street, Poblacion, Municipality of Polomolok, South Cotabato for Violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
After the transaction was consummated the police poseur buyer signaled the team to arrest the suspect and confiscated following pieces of evidence from the possession and control of the suspect during the operation were One (1) piece Five hundred peso bill used as Buy bust money; One (1) piece heat sealed of transparent cellophane sachet containing white crystalline substance of suspected shabu estimated with a street value of Php500.00 and One (1) unit Honda CRF MC, color red without attached plate number which was used by the suspect during the drug transaction.
At about 06:30 of the same date and still in coordination with PDEA12 another buy-bust operation was conducted against Mary Juzel Pacifico y Tilo a.k.a. “Jie2x”, 30 years old, an employee of Unified Engineering Workers Multi-Purpose Cooperative and resident of Purok Olano Brgy. Magsaysay Polomolok, South Cotabato Purok San Miguel, Barangay Poblacion, Polomolok, South Cotabato for Violation of RA 9165 otherwise known as Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002.
During the transaction, poseur buyer was able to buy One (1) piece heat-sealed transparent plastic cellophane sachet containing white crystalline substance believed to be shabu and after confirming the transaction, police poseur buyer signaled the team to arrest the suspect. Confiscated in her possession were one (1) piece Five Hundred Php500.00 peso bill Buy bust money and One (1) piece heat-sealed sachet of suspected shabu estimated street value of Php500.00.
The suspected drug item will be forwarded to Regional Crime Laboratory Office 12 in General Santos City for laboratory examination. A case for violation of Art II, Section 5 of RA 9165 is being prepared for filing at the Provincial Prosecutors Office, Polomolok, South Cotabato against the said suspects.
