Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct short power interruptions on July 24 and 25, affecting customers in Catalunan Pequeño and some parts of Davao City Downtown area.
The service disruptions on July 24 will be necessary to facilitate pole relocation of Davao Light 69 kV line affected by the road widening project.
There will be two sets of 30 minute power interruption on July 24 anytime between 1:30 a.m. to 2:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m.. Customers affected are those from Holy Child College Mintal Campus to Sea Oil Gasoline Station in Catalunan Pequeño, including Green Meadows Subdivision, Wellspring Subdivision Phases 2 and 3, Greenhills Subdivision, Sincere Subdivision and neighboring areas.
Moreover, a 15-minute power interruption on July 25 will be conducted anytime between 5:00 a.m. to 5:30 a.m. to facilitate normalization of Davao Light Hospital Feeder Lines. Customers affected by this short power disruption are those from Bioessence Gold along Circumferential Road to Quirino Avenue, including Mabini Street, Davao Doctors Hospital, Ricardo Limso Medical Center and neighboring areas. Also affected are customers from Davao Light Gaisano Substation to Holy Cross of Davao College via Guzman Street, including San Pedro Hospital and nearby areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by this scheduled power interruption. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
