TUDELA, Misamis Occidental (PIA)—To help raise awareness on the coronavirus disease (COVID)-19 vaccination program, the Sangguniang Kabataan (SK) Federation of Tudela, here, created the information drive dubbed, “Katipunan ng Kabataan (KKK).”

“The federation  targets to conduct the KKK earlier this year to discuss COVID-19 vaccination. This proposal will be discussed by the federation this coming regular session on Saturday to finalize the schedule of KKK assembly to our barangays,” Tudela SK Federation President Jecel Mie Policar said during the Network Briefing News with Communications Sec. Martin Andanar, March 29.

The SK federation also plans to conduct an information drive on the vaccination to help the Local Government of Tudela.

Having different views and perspectives on vaccination, Policar said some residents of the town are excited to get back with their normal life while some are worried about the safety of being inoculated.

To strengthen the campaign on the vaccination program, Policar said, ”With the help of the Rural Health Unit (RHU), Department of the Interior and Local Government (DILG) and the Local Government of Tudela, we can contribute and we can help the local government by conducting the Katipunan ng Kabataan assembly to give information to our youth.”

Policar calls for the youth’s participation in the federation saying, “We believe that the participation of the youth can help and give impact to our municipality.” (SMRN/PIA Misamis Occidental)
