Davao Light and Power Co., Inc. will conduct 15-minute power interruptions on October 12, 13 and 14 affecting customers in some areas of Davao City.
The first set of power interruptions will be on October 12, Saturday, anytime between 1:00 a.m. to 1:30 a.m. and on October 14, Monday, anytime between 3:00 a.m. to 3:30 a.m.. These outages will be necessary to facilitate maintenance works at Davao Light Maa Substation.
Specifically affected are customers from Quirino Avenue corner Mabini Street going to Ateneo de Davao University Matina Campus including Gen. Luna, Illustre, Duterte and Legaspi Streets. Parts of San Pedro and Magallanes Streets are also affected.
Moreover, customers from Star Oil Gasoline Station along Ma-a road going to Mandug, including portion of Indangan via Jade Valley and Juliville Subdivisions, Panorama, Tigatto and other neighboring areas will also experience these short power interruptions.
Meanwhile, another set of 15-minute power outages will be on October 13, Sunday, anytime between 5:00 AM to 5:30 AM and anytime between 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM. This will be necessary to facilitate distribution line upgrade along Buhangin Diversion Road.
Customers affected are those from Gaisano Grand City Gate Buhangin going to Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness in Cabantian. Also affected are customers from COA Regional Office XI going to Santol St. along Buhangin diversion road and nearby areas.
Davao Light apologizes for the inconvenience brought about by these scheduled power interruptions. But it will exert all efforts to restore electric service as scheduled or earlier. However, there may be instances where restoration may extend beyond the schedule due to unavoidable circumstances.
